I am taking wedding photo’s for a friend today. All night I had dreams about all of the things that can go wrong. Hopefully none of them do and everything will be wonderful! Wish me luck

I apologize! I have been a very bad blogger this past little while. In my defense…I haven’t actually been home all that much. We’ve been spending a lot of time out at the lake and camping and such. Last weekend was spent at my family reunion, catching up with aunts, uncles and cousins and having a total blast. Thought I’d share a few pics!

I am going to scrap. My husband is at work and two out of three kids are at school. Time to stop procrastinating and get something done. I think I’m going to start with my enormous pile of unfinished layouts. Whip a few of those off and I’ll be back in the saddle in no time…so to speak!

I’m going to share a quick conversation I had with my 7 year old not too long ago.
We were sitting at the dinner table, talking about our days and he was sharing some of the things other kids had brought into the classroom for show & tell. He said how one of the boys had brought in his Nintendo DS, and that another boy had brought in something really old but he couldn’t remember what it was called. So I said, “Oh, you mean like an antique?” and he said, “yes!”. And then, the light bulb goes off and he remembers what it was. His reply:”I remember now… it was a Gameboy!”.
Now, maybe I’m dating myself a bit here, but can a Gameboy really be considered an antique? I think not!

Haven’t been scrapping much (at all) lately. Not really sure why. I’m just in a general funk I think. I can’t wait for spring and spending time outside and taking new pictures. But today is Valentine’s day, and I have a plan for some pics later. I spoiled my kids and surprised them with chocolate cupcakes on the table for breakfast when they woke up. They were pretty excited! Alas, I was still in bed…so no pics! Maybe next time
