I apologize! I have been a very bad blogger this past little while. In my defense…I haven’t actually been home all that much. We’ve been spending a lot of time out at the lake and camping and such. Last weekend was spent at my family reunion, catching up with aunts, uncles and cousins and having a total blast. Thought I’d share a few pics!

My baby’s three! October 22, 2009

Hard to believe that it already been three years. I remember this day as though it were just yesterday.

And today, he is no longer a baby. Now he is a little boy…getting bigger every minute. It makes me a little sad, but at the same time I am so excited  to keep watching him grow.

Now, if only we could get the potty training thing down!

Heading out to the lake tomorrow for our family reunion this weekend. Today will be spent in a mad rush trying to get everything organized. Actually, the packing will be easy, but I am also going to be taking out some scrap stuff, which takes awhile to decide on the whole ‘what to take, what not to take’ debate   Hoping for great weather and lots of photo ops! One of my favourite places to relax in the summer is at our cabin on Shuswap lake. We spend a lot of time out there and the kids have so much fun digging in the sand and playing in the water. I snapped this photo over the weekend…and of course used a few of the new techniques I’ve learned from Jessica Sprague! I’ve been spending so much time editing my photo’s I haven’t scrapped in a week!

I love how SIMPLE it is to do this!! I honestly don’t think I would ever get into digital scrapping, but I can see myself editing my pics a lot more before I send them off to the printers
