Welcome to Lovebug Scrapbooking’s “INSPIRE US!” blog hop!! This is the first of 12 months of inspiration, each to take place on the last Saturday of every month. Thanks so much for joining us! If you just happened by this blog and didn’t realize a blog hop was taking place, please go back to Lovebug Scrapbooking and start the Hop. You won’t want to miss all the ispiration from our members……. or the prizes 🙂 Our theme for January is “Love is In The Air”.

Here is the ‘Love’ layout I created:

And from the scraps, I made a quick Valentine’s Day card for my husband (good thing he doesn’t read my blog!):

Supplies used: Making Memories patterned paper and stickers, American Crafts thickers, Heidi Swapp glitter flower

If you are like me, and have a house full of boys, Valentine’s day is the perfect opportunity to pull out some of those girly supplies and get some use out of them. And if you have girls…I’m sure you know what to do!

This blog hop will run from today, January 30th until February 6th. There will be a prize drawing on February 7th. Check the Lovebug Blog for more details!

Follow along in our blog hop! Your next stop is http://www.myscrappyness.blogspot.com/.

Cosmo Cricket posted a sketch challenge on their blog last week. I’ve been coming back to it every day, thinking about doing a Christmas layout, but then I saw the saying on the strip paper in the Boyfriend collection and my thoughts kind of morphed into this!

Here is the sketch:

and here is my take:

Supplies used: Cosmo Cricket patterned paper and stickers, assorted buttons

Supplies used: American Crafts patterned paper, thickers and flair badge, Heidi Swapp sticker, Fancy Pants ribbon, Close to My Heart stamp

This is my layout for American Crafts’ 30 minute layout challenge on their blog . For those of you who know me, doing a layout in 30 minutes is not really a reality in my world, but this actually was pretty quick and easy. I started off with a PageMaps sketch and just added a few embellies and cut the stars from the patterned paper. Simple!
